Electricity (Namibia)
Namibia operates on a standard electricity supply of 230 volts and a frequency of 50 Hz. The most commonly used plug types are Type D and Type M, featuring two or three round pins.
Most phone, tablet, and laptop chargers are designed to handle a range of voltages, but it's always best to check your device specifications to ensure compatibility. If your appliances are not compatible with the local voltage, you'll need a voltage converter in addition to an adapter.
You can find adapters and converters at electronics stores, supermarkets, and some duty-free shops throughout Namibia. It’s advisable to purchase these items before your trip, as they may not be readily available in more remote areas.
