Tibet Permit

All of our tours to Tibet include the Tibet permit processing fee. We require a coloured copy of your passport to apply for your Tibetan permit. If you are travelling to China and Tibet for longer than 30 days, you will also require a valid China visa before we can apply for your Tibetan permit.

Changes can occur to the Chinese Government policies regarding the issue of these permits, sometimes at short notice. Wendy Wu Tours will keep all customers up to date with any changes regarding the issuing of Tibet permits that may affect our ability to operate this tour as per the original itinerary. In all cases, alternative arrangements are offered.

There is no consular representation in Australia. Therefore, Wendy Wu Tours will forward information to our office in China to process on our behalf. Your permit will then be provided to you in China.

Tibetan Application Checklist:

  • 1 x clear, coloured copy of passport bio page
  • 1 x clear, coloured copy of valid Chinese visa (if you will be travelling in China and Tibet for more than 30 days)
