Japan - Visa Not Required for Australian Passport Holders

As of 11 October 2022, Japan has resumed its visa exemption scheme for short-stay tourism travel (stays up to 90 days). Australian passport holders no longer need to apply for a visa prior to arrival. 

For all other nationalities, please check visa requirements via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.

Your Australian passport is still required to have at least six months validity from your scheduled return home date, with two blank facing pages.

We still require a copy of your passport to book internal train travel. If you haven't done so already, please email a coloured scan of your passport bio page to info@wendywutours.com.au no later than 75 days before travel.
