Georgia Entry Requirements

Australian passport holders are exempt from requiring a visa to enter Georgia for stays of up to one year for tourism purposes. 

As of 01 January 2026, it will be mandatory for all tourists entering Georgia to have health and accident insurance. This must be presented in paper form; please ensure that you have a printed copy of your travel insurance with you to show upon entry.

Note: This was previously to be introduced effective from 01 June 2024, but has been postponed to January 2026.
