Electricity (Morocco)
Morocco operates on a standard electricity supply of 220 volts and a frequency of 50 Hz. The plugs used are type C and E, which feature two round pins. If your devices have different plug types, you will need a suitable adapter to use them.
Most phone, tablet, and laptop chargers are designed to handle a range of voltages, but it’s always best to check the specifications on your devices to ensure compatibility. If you have appliances that are not compatible with the local voltage, you may need a voltage converter in addition to an adapter.
You can find adapters and converters at electronics stores, supermarkets, and some duty-free shops in Morocco. It’s advisable to purchase these before your trip, as they may not always be readily available in more remote areas.
