      Electricity (Middle East)

      In the Middle East, the standard voltage is 220 volts, 240-volt appliances will work safely with this supply. The frequency is 50Hz (depending on location). Though the main plugs are Type C or Type G (Saudi Arabia), as there are 5 associated outlets in the Middle East, universal adapters are recommended. You can buy adapters from many hardware and department stores and also from duty free prior to departure.
