Ebola Attestation

Following an Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), the United States' Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) has introduced a mandatory passenger attestation requirement for travel to the USA.

Effective from 04 November 2026, all passengers boarding flights to or via the USA must complete an attestation (declaration) confirming they have not been in the DRC during the 21 days prior to travel to or via the USA. For more information, please visit: https://www.cdc.gov/port-health/legal-authorities/attestation-order.html?lid=87ouqfk4kbua

Passengers travelling to or via the USA will receive pre-travel emails advising them of the attestation requirement 7 days prior to departure, via their airline. Passengers who have not received an email, or have not completed the form before arriving at the airport, can complete it using the self-service kiosks or a paper form at check-in.
