Currency (Kyrgyzstan)
Kyrgyzstani economy is mostly cash-based. The official currency in Kazakhstan is the Kyrgyzstani Som (KGS). Banknotes come in denominations of 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1,000 and 5,000 soms. Coins come in 1, 3, 5, and 10 soms.
