Currency (Georgia)
The official currency in Georgia is the Georgian Lari (GEL). Bank notes come in denominations of 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100. Coins come in denominations of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 tetri and also in 1, 2 Lari.

- Credit cards are widely used in Tbilisi but less so in regional areas
